Rae brings nonprofit leadership experience from an array of public sector organizations, including higher education, health and social justice, and climate initiatives. In these roles, she’s honed skills in operations, program management, and strategic collaboration. 

Space has long been a personal passion, leading Rae to engage in astronomy education and outreach for many years. From volunteering as a NASA Solar System Ambassador to serving on the board of Clark Planetarium, she’s enjoyed sharing her excitement for space with her local communities.

Rae holds degrees from the Ohio State University and Carnegie Mellon University, and is currently furthering her studies in Organizational Leadership. When not working, Rae spends time outdoors, exploring the beautiful National and State parks of the Southwest US.
